dark, rainy or foggy?

Thanks so much for posing these provocative questions as I am very much struggling with them myself. I have been quietly acknowledging to myself that I am feeling blue and missing my core of friends all of whom died within a year of each other. I have made other friends but the deep kind don’t come easy.
Being the community Priestess and Shaman doesn’t always help either as all assume that you are fine always.
I rarely if ever get really depressed but I can feel it poking around my edges like a little frost in this cooler time.
So after contemplating these questions, I said to myself, Enough of This and lit my favorite incense in every room and proceeded to go out to feed my beautiful Appaloosa Mare.
I know that I find my deepest peace and sustenance in this Shamanic realm that I co - create under the loving arms of the Grandmother Tree in my White Room (read on…)

Aphrodite and Oshun/Imbolc and Beyond
 

I like to celebrate the coming of the Sacred Love Goddesses starting on Feb 2 with Imbolc,Candlemas,Brigid’s Day and so on.
Mainstream culture likes to deify St. Valentine and give this bloodthirsty slayer of women the one day of the year that Love is supposed to Rule. How totally bizarre  and how the hell did he manage to grab that gig? I could research but let’s just chalk that up to the  badass patriarchy.
This just does not work for me at all so for years, I have celebrated  the time between Imbolc and Feb 14 or so as the Feast of Aphrodite. During this time one can delight in all manner of love rituals [as long as they are non-manipulative] and generally pump up your love groove. (read on…)

Falling for a Venusian/Uranus/Saturn TSquare 

It had been a long but rewarding day of reading for and treating dogs at Earth Pets Holistic Pet Market. I do this monthly and it is always gratifying to see the little ones change before my eyes after treating them with understanding and flower essences.
I had a nice dinner with a friend  and then went to this lovely gourmet Fresh Market to shop.
Typically, I am home immediately after so that I can put my horse in  before dark and feed her but today my Venusian needs won out over my Saturn in Virgo regimen.Rebellions Uranus who likes to shake up routine must have stoked that one too opposing Saturn. (read on…)

My dear friend Tara and I worked on Chinamoon’s auric field as she is in the process of healing from West Nile Virus. China’s aura felt quite strong and vibrated some 4 feet from her body. Last night when I rechecked her flower essences, I had the clearest understanding about her vulnerability to West Nile. I dowsed [a way of divining information] with my faithful pendulum over many boxes of flower essences before discovering that China in fact needed the remedy, Grief and Loss in her special mix for her grid. [a grid is a miniature healing temple, a template if you will, of the animal or person, created with stones,symbols,flower essences or whatever healing items you want to include]
China had been suffering much as I had been over the loss of kittens Manuelo and Serena, both of whom are buried near her stall. Each of them in turn used to play in her pasture with her like little gray bolts of light and joy dancing across the sand of her paddock.

As I begin my 2nd Saturn Cycle, I find myself looking deep into the eyes of the Crone. Outside of the physical issues and breakdowns that old injuries offer up as a medal of sorts for a life lived,my mind and spirit feel amazingly spry.

My perception of time is now including a sense of limitation ie, I am without the sense of time being infinite that I had in my 20’s which is really good I think.I recognize that all roads are not necessarily worth taking and that the wrong “yes” could turn into a “no” for something that could be of true benefit.

I choose my yesses more carefully now and yet endeavor to make those choices with an open heart and mind.Nothing like a few good surprises to keep you young and if you hold the reigns too tight you never know the ecstasy of flight.

I definitely see patterns and planetary indicators of Queerness. I have lavendar written all over my chart with a Uranus/Cancer Asc.as a focal for my Tsquare to Sun/Moon/Mars.

I think a lot of Uranian,Aquarian,Plutonic/Scorpio energies can provoke some very sapphic behavior amongst women unless they have a strong Saturn pull that keeps them tied up because they want to follow the rules of society.

I did a wkshp 20 years ago on the Moon and Your Need for Nurturance. I had over 20 lesbians in my living room and so many of them had either strong Aquarius planets,especially Moon/Venus or planets in the 11th House or aspected by Uranus.

It’s really been interesting about this eclipse and the one on my birthday[Mar 18] which was the same eclipse that I ws born under.It seems like something has been lifted ie as if I was eclipsed before these eclipses and its blowing my mind. [ has anyone had this experience with eclipses]

I was worried because the first eclipse also featured a square to my Sun and Moon by Pluto and Mars but it was a great day actually. Felt like I was coming out of something and so many doors were flying open.Also my Mercury which was opposed by this Eclipse has been working overtime for weeks…well actually since the last Lunar Eclipse.

There are songs with positive messages that we can sing for peace and thoughts that we will need to energize to not contribute to the us and them consciousness that can get stirred up at this time. I have been working on and suggesting wrapping the planet in a luminous pearly crystalline web or dome of light so that some of the fear mongering and saber rattling will find no fertile ground to grow in.

Tuesday’s eclipse could have some globally/environmentally,and politically challenging energies. I am a believer in holding that common thought for peace and healing and the highest good for all so do join in if the spirit moves you and I hope it will. Some of the politriks of the world can make us feel helpless and hopeless so do take a few minutes or more if you like to send up a positive web or dome of light to surround us and heal this planet and all of Her beings.

Ritual for Working with Hurricane Ivan /Oya

Thawing the Body/releasing places where shock still lives

In dealing with the grief and loss that this season awakens,I have had a new insight.As I write this
I realize that these sudden shocks to our system leave scars and tears and disrupt the energy patterns that enable all the meridians to flow as naturally as they might..
I see myself as one who has had way too many blows and sudden tears in the past few years and that my body had become frozen into these points of shock sort of like a photo in a freeze frame where the electrical short circuiting and
explosions are still happening. I saw myself cringing and gripping myself tightly together as if this would protect me from the cataclysms bursting around me;as
