WEATHERWORK
I am most grateful for all of the folks who jumped in and helped the people, animals and land that are in the path of this hurricane with their prayers, spells and good intentions..Sometimes Mama needs to clean house and there is nothing to do but get out of the way and sometimes there can be a gentling or shifting that can have an amazing impact. I do not have the audacity to think that I or we could command Mama but I will always try to ask for Divine intervention and as we all know positive thoughts working in the same direction and intention can be very powerful . This is something that Witches and Shamans of every nation and path have done since time immemorial
It’s never OK to wish tragedy elsewhere but we can propose that it do the least harm and the most good. Here in Florida, Fay had some tragic results but the main thing that was positive was an end to the draught that was about to become dangerous for all.
Hard to watch a Katrina which many of us tried to steward around New Orleans and which actually happened only to have the human or rather inhumane politrix of the current administration on every level fail so miserably and heartlessly. I worked with the dogs that were brought here off the streets of the Big Easy and the pain in their eyes spoke volumes so for them and those who were not saved even though they could have been, I have dedicated myself to try to make a difference when those winds begin to blow and the water rises.
I have also worked with and enjoyed the women of Camp SisterSpirit on many occasions and they are the best. They do the nuts and bolts community survival stuff in the deepest part of the Deep South in Ovett MS where they were once hated. After Katrina when they fed the same folks who shot at their dogs, it was a different story. Now they are all good neighbors.
These times of chaos and Earth Changes will test us all to bring our best skills and energies to the table, and we all have something to offer even if its joining in and lighting a candle, saying a prayer, creating a positive image/outcome. We all can make a difference for the collective and ourselves as well.
Hopelessness is the killer and can disempower more than any calamity. The mainstream culture is all about making us feel hopeless so that we are easier to control.
We can indeed start a Revolution/Evolution by picking up the baton of our little piece of power that is ours to wield for the highest purpose and for the good of all. Many hands make light work and we can be that Beacon that shines for all when we pick up our own power and match Hope with Right Action. In this way we can and will activate the miraculous, the magic and truly begin to anchor Heaven on Earth.
