Date: 10/2/2007 8:36:01 AM Eastern Daylight Time

Thank you so much for agreeing to share with us! Please do tell us about yourself and feel free to be as in depth as you like!We would love to print your picture too!

ok I will pick a couple for ya

Where were you born and raised and what are some of your earliest memories?

I was born in the presence of my mother on March 18, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ. I am quite sure that my room must have faced the Statue of Liberty because I have been a freedom fighter for as long as I can remember. They tell me that after singing Happy Birthday to me on my first birthday, I smiled and put my fist through the cake!

My first Feminist action took place in kindergarten at 4 yrs of age. I had been participating in the rhythm band for a couple of weeks just waiting for my turn to play the snare drum. I had clicked the claves and clanged the triangle but that magic moment when my sticks would strike the skin of the DRUM was awaiting me that morning or so I thought. I was not raised to think that girls were inferior to boys so imagine my surprise when I had the sticks taken from my hands and was told that girls could play anything but this and that I could go to the back of the line again.

My little egalitarian heart was breaking but I screwed up my courage to tell the teacher that this was unfair and was there something else that I could do during this time as I didn’t want to be a part of something so unfair. She told me that I could fingerprint and so I stood in the corner for the rest of the year and finger-painted during the rhythm band time.
This theme and connection with the drums has followed me all the way through adulthood and today am appreciated as an accomplished percussionist.

I always was a strange kid and kept to myself a lot. I remember sitting in my bedroom and realizing that 2 hr. had passed in the blink of an eye. My sense tells me that from an early age I journeyed probably with wise guides to mystical places and dimensions where I was instructed in magical ideas and practices.

I have always been a natural at this and have never feared dipping into unknown or uncharted waters.

Because my neighborhood was full of boys who regularly knocked me around, I spent a lot of time either in the house creating my own inner world with my toys and animals or in a place called “The Lots” which was actually the beginnings of the Palisades. Here I began my fascination with rocks and minerals.

I spent hours sitting on the side of the hill digging through piles of rocks.
My first term paper in 8th Grade Earth Science was called naturally,”The Occult Properties of Quartz Minerals”.The teachers just did not know what to do with me and fortunately I knew what to do with me which was to listen to my inner voice and that carried me through a lonely adolescence.

I was always more interested in the Bermuda Triangle,Reincarnation, the origins of the species, or Atlantis than dating probably because I was a lesbian from birth and probably also because metaphysical things held more interest for me than proms and cheereleading.
On Halloween 1958 I began my connection with the keyboard which has taken me many places and music still is the most stimulating thing that I do because it enlivens all of my chakras and makes me feel totally alive. For me music is as easy as breathing and I have breathed life into 2 CD’s to date, Flash Silvermoon, and Phases of the Silvermoon.plus a pair of tapes of Space Music.

I have been a professional musician for about 41 years which is sort of hard to even comprehend in numbers. Music was my first love and work out in the world too.and has provided me with a wonderful creative outlet my entire life as well as a way to support the causes that I believe in.

When I was about 35ish I realized that I no longer wanted to mostly make my living playing clubs, etc., that I wanted instead to utilize my psychic skills as the focus for my income. I had been working professionally in this field as well since I was about 21 [I am now 57] and I realized that if playing clubs was basically just for the $$ then doing readings was a more wholesome lifestyle and was actually making me more $$ per HR soooooooo I let my psychic work support me and my musical leanings so that I could play only where and when I wanted. This allowed me to play for all the causes that I held dear and record CD’s and basically give my music a better venue and allowed me to want to continue playing as the club scene was so deadening.
