Astroflash Monthly Horoscope for September

The energies of September actually begin in the tail end of August with the New Moon in Virgo on the 29th. Not only are the Sun and Moon in Virgo but lovely Venus is also in this Mercurial sign. This is a big shift from the grandiose and intense fires of Leo. Now we might even expect a release from frustration and a measure of sanity and logic!

We still have many planets retrograde which means that even as wild as it got in August, we really did not feel the full force of the potential as retrograde energy tends to force what would be forward motion into a wall while a deeper understanding ideally is reached. That's being generous and I am speaking on the most idealistic of levels.
I do not like to come off as a Pollyanna or a gloom and doomer so I like to give both options.

While Mercury was retrograde through most of August, we could have dealt with any number of accidents,mistakes, or wrong turns. Now it is time for corrective action and Virgo just loves to correct.If you have a tendency to feel guilty or if your self esteem needs a boost you will see it more clearly now as it may be heightened by Virgo's critical nature.

All the miscommunication, false starts, frustration and misunderstandings of last months can now be corrected and ideally no real harm was done. You can bet that our financial boondoggles and political game playing will all be up for review as the smoke lifts and shows who really goofed and who acted like saboteurs.

Virgo energy can be critical but that is not necessarily a bad thing. This is a great time to edit and narrow your thoughts and projects so that you say what you mean and mean what you say. This might even extend into the global picture but then all the spin doctors would have to get pink slips. We might even discover that some of the ideas we were not able to manifest, at second look would not have held water anyway.

The really good news is that there is a preponderance of Earth signs in play and even forming a fortuitous Grand Trine which offers much more stability as well as ease at navigating the material plane, IE resources and finances. The worst is over for awhile but should require better negotiations in the future.

We can never forget that Uranus and Pluto are still squared which means that they are causing great conflicts and power imbalances which will force major changes to occur with the political scene, economics, the weather, our emotions and even our health. There is a war going on. The old ways of the Powers that have Been are white knuckling it while a real New World is trying to be born. If you have ever been with a woman in labor, you know that birthing is no easy matter.

As I view the chart of the US, I can see how transiting Pluto, the firebrand revolutionary of the heavens, is opposing  the US Jupiter. This energy suggests there are powerful energies trying to dominate and manipulate our resources and economy while another powerful force is trying to transform our system to one that is radically different and more even handed for all. Pluto energy likes to get to the root of things so this may take some time.

As far as relationships go Venus traveling near the Sun keeps life sweet but Virgo energy is not the most passionate and romantic. Intellectual pursuits are favored and being of service may float your boat for most of the month. Be that as it may, the home fires will burn and you will find the nest a bit cozier than usual.
I do not think we will have any real attacks on Sept. 11 not that some won't try to keep us terrorized!

The Full Moon in Pisces on the 12th should mellow out the mental energies requiring a blend of the imagination and the logical mind.This could be a great time to study your dreams and keep a record of the journey. I think that you will find this immensely helpful later in the month even if you do not usually remember such things.

Dear little Pluto will end its 5 month retrograde on Sept. 17 and this should be a real turning point for all the shifts and energetic transformation that has been slowly morphing our world and us.
I think that we will  see more floods and earthquakes particularly around the Full Moon in Pisces for the flooding and maybe on or near the 17th for the volcanic activities. The occult axiom states, "As Above So Below" and so we may feel that fury beneath our feet as well as in our daily events.

We may not all experience this shift so externally. For many the journey will take a more inner and spiritual metamorphosis. Liberation is what is trying to happen on so many levels and it is not a matter of if you are changing  but how you are changing and truth be told you can go dancing or kicking and screaming. I recommend the former.The good thing here is that we all will have what we need to accomplish this, no need for fear and panic.

The Virgo Ritual this month is quite simple. Some may think that Meditation is a complex matter that requires at least an hr. of navel gazing while the reality is that Any Mindless Activity can become your Meditation! Washing the dishes can become a time of clearing your mind, weeding the garden can become a way of removing all parasites from your field, taking a shower and washing your hair  can become a meditation for totally clearing your body, sanding  some wood can also become a metaphor for making life smoother! Try any and all of these mindless activities this month especially when your  Imperialistic mind wants to control everything.

Fall Equinox falls on Friday,Sept. 23rd and this brings in great energies for balance. I was going to say Peace as well however with  Uranus the Freedom Fighter.opposing the Sun in Libra, we may find more ways to create that balance. People think that Libra is the Peacekeeper but not exactly because its this energy that seeks balance and fairness and these are the very subjects that can send folks to war.

This theme will continue  on Sept. 27 with the  Libra New Moon and again Uranus is even making a closer opposition so we may see more  demonstrations and a desire for a more equitable way of doing things.There is a global restlessness and a desire for Peace but not at any price. Some bright voices may make themselves known  who can actually bring unity, peace and healing to the fore and it will be much welcomed.

Many of us have felt the need to hunker down for several months and that has been good and necessary for our development and even survival. It will now be just as important to unite with like  minded others to help manifest the dynamic elevation that is occurring. Community building and support is critical for us to hold the grid together as it shifts and changes almost before our very eyes.

Aries - I am really digging the fact that my energy is just stirring the pot for everyone. Granted it's because Uranus is in my sign and will be for years but that little booger is holding my feet to the proverbial fire. I didn't use to get away with much but now all my junk is on the table. I have to really scramble to clean up my own act so that I can make the  big changes that I am longing to make. I always want to be first ya know and therein lies the rub so the heat is on!

Taurus - How can I really complain when  jolly Jupiter is in my sign. Granted, its been retrograde for a while and I try to be patient, and I am good at that, however  its time to give up the goods. OK I said it and now I can go back to being my good little patient Taurian self because I know as I wait, my grand prize will be well worth it. In the mean time, I can indulge my sensual desires which is always good for me and will keep me quite satisfied, wanna join me?

Gemini - Argh! I thought Mercury Retrograde would never end. Being Mercury ruled myself, its backstroke is a major pain in my behind. Can't do this ,can't sign that, don't talk to this one.....anything that hinders my ability to communicate is on my sh..t list. I love September when I can feel that cool exciting breeze blow through and blast away the summer doldrums. I am just popping with new ideas and inspirations that the more solitary retro time offered.

Cancer - I suppose life as I have known it is permanently on hiatus. I like excitement as much as the next..well honestly maybe much less than the next unless its really good excitement. Sometimes I feel like a stranger in a strange land and maybe that's because it is strange out there and I am sensitive enough to feel it and feel it I do. Now I even have the courage to say these words and be that canary in the coal mine. Listen to this Cancer because I feel the changes from the first ripple!

Leo - Cancer, if we listen to you we will all stay home but not me , oh no. I am going to strut my stuff while the summer is still at its hottest. Remember we lions love the heat and we are dessert creatures. We may not move around like we might in the Spring but even with the brisker September we are on the prowl and ready to make our move. We make long range plans quietly making sure that we will have a warm honey to cuddle up with  for the winter chill.

Virgo - Talk about plans, mine extend through 2012! With my newly cleared mind and focus, I can see my journey spreading out ahead of me like an open road with no limits. My critical voice tells me that I may be getting a little ahead of myself but I know that it is better to aim for the stars and miss than to am at nothing and hit it! I have had loads of time to think and now I am more ready to engage with the world and create my new space. I know that I am needed and the right space will unfold.

Libra - What's wrong with Peace and Love and a world that shares its resources fairly?  They call me a Peacemaker and I desperately want to be just that. Seems like so many wars are fought to get the very things that I crave, why is this? My intentions are nothing but good although I must admit that my decision making apparatus is often on the fritz. If I ruled the world, everyone would have enough and some left over, bullies would be sent to the hinterlands, everyone would have food, housing, medical care and interesting work. Doesn't everyone want this? Write me in on Nov. 2012.

Scorpio - Yes, let's redistribute the wealth perfect. I was born for that job. I get myself in such trouble when I quietly maneuver in that direction. I am not going to be screaming from the roof tops, ya see my methods are more stealth regarding wealth and my perceptive nature usually knows the Achilles Heel of any project or manager.  Sooner or later our roads will cross and we can converse in the open. I am no one rick pony honey and love is second or first on my dance card most days so if you are a love interest, the bedroom will work nicely and we can put all those nasty money issues to bed.

Sagittarius - " Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose..." I am feeling  so free of many old issues but I almost feel like I am in some kind of kozmic free fall. Sometimes our baggage grounds us and pulls us to and fro which can be oddly settling. I know that there are infinite possibilities and I typically love the search and abhor the chains. This is  such an interesting space that I find myself in and I know its is best to just breathe through the discomfort and keep moving forward. The gold ring can't be far away.

Capricorn - OK Spirit, haven't I proven my mettle yet? Haven't I pared down, tried hard, been patient and kept taking that next right step? I surrender! Ah... that's what you wanted isn't it OK I give. You are bigger than me, can control my world better than me and if I simply [ha!] align my will with your Universal Will I will be just fine!
Surrender, what a concept and yet that is clearly my best medicine right now. I am almost embarrassed that it took me this long oh pride be still. I will be silent now and let this all sink in.

Aquarius - I am being spiritualized, electrified, quantified,and salinized dunked over and over in the cosmic sea of possibilities. Neptune is once again blurring all my edges and bottom lines til I hardly know who I am. Some of it feels great and bursting with potential. I sense a higher purpose being laid out for me and that can be a blessing. Sometimes my ideas demand to run the show but these days my intuition so gently rocks me into just the right place. This is new so scary but quite lovely when I let it be.

Pisces - Aquarius I can surely relate but I am very used to going with that flow and now that Neptune has left the building for awhile, I must come out of the fish bowl now and again and interact more fully with my intellect. My intuition runs like a top and  puts me in a place so different from most of the world as far as how I function on a daily basis. Mine is a kinder more gentle world with soft edges meant to do no harm and this can be difficult if one interacts with a harsh world of bigger and better and power over."
