ARIES PROFILE – ARIES profile! Take a good look, here I am, do ya like this Arian profile? I know, the nose isn’t quite as straight as it could be but see we rough and tumble Aries lead with our heads. Sometimes our own bodies are the scene of the crime as it were, and often enough its literally our heads that wear our badges of courage or impulsiveness.

It’s not so much that I am selfish but I do tend to get tunnel vision when I want something. Its not even that I mean to hurt you, but I just simply do not see you in my rush to the object of my affection or interest.
Hmmmm, not painting such a pretty picture here but you have got to know that I never lie, what you see is what you get and that’s the truth about the Aries personality.

If its passion that you want baby I am hot hot forget me not even Johny/Janey on the spot and I always like to leave you wanting more.
Yes, wanting more, that’s another thing about me. I always want the next new thing and my eyes are always bigger than my ability to complete or sometimes even taste.
If you need someone to light your fire be it sex, inspiration,great ideas and projects, I got it covered and we can brainstorm into the night.I am a self starter and need a great deal of autonomy in every way. If ya want it finished better find a good Taurus or Virgo, it ain’t me babe.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TAURUS – If I had to talk about the characteristics of Taurus, and I do, I would tell you that we are built for comfort and not for speed. If you want some Nascar driver find an Aries in the grease pit..not me! To find me, look for the luxurious. I like the finer things in life and if I chose you, then be flattered because I always like the best. I am looking for people, places, art, food, furniture, wine that have some intrinsic value.

If I love you, it’s for real and I do not get involved lightly. One of the main characteristics of Taurus is their ability to be loyal and bond for the long haul.

To court a Taurian, we really like  getting stuff, good stuff yummy stuff like I could get lost with you in a bowl of dark chocolate covered strawberries sharing each one lip to lip. This could lead ever do slowly, and we do like to go slow, to some crimson Egyptian satin sheets with Sade Live wafting through my rose perfumed boudoir. GEMINI PROFILE – As most of you know a Gemini profile only tells maybe half the story. My profile this morning may be diametrically opposed to my Gemini profile this evening. If you want to hang with me you need to be able to turn the mood on a dime partly because I do and partly because you will need to keep me stimulated and not bored. I hate boring and will tolerate many things rather than feeling like I want to go to sleep you dig?

While we are examining this Gemini profile thing which I will resist like the plague, I never lie, I just change my mind. If you are so damn linear that you can’t follow the labyrinth of my mind flow than do get yourself a Taurus, nice and solid, no surprises.

It may not be in the Gemini profile but I even surprise myself. I never know what’s going to come flying out of my mouth. With me when it comes to communication, more is more. Love them words and I spill them liberally because I want you to understand and also because I want to understand myself. Somehow when  the sound of my voice hits the air, I am able to recognize what’s really going on with me.

CANCER TRAITS – Cancer traits, hm do we have traits? We have moods that’s for sure and they vary like the moon. We are sometimes called Moon children because the Lunar Lady is our ruling planet.

If you really want to understand us on the day to day,  follow the  passage of the moon through its signs because we really respond so much to those shifts. We are more watery in nature than most and it is a Cancer characteristic to be the sponge of the zodiac.

Cancer more than any other sign is effected by her environment so if you are a crab,hate that name for us, be good to yourself by choosing only good company.

You may want to save yourself some heartache by posting a big  red sign over your door saying”And I Ain’t your Mama!” Your good nature can make you a soft touch for a sad tale just don’t let yourself be drawn into mothering when you rather be lovering, ‘nuf said!

LEO PROFILE – Check out this Leo profile in the mirror, I do everyday and I am lookin’ good. The Lion is in!  Look, look, you are not looking at me! This is one perfect Leo profile, nicely flared nostrils, fiery eyes, good cheekbones and look at my awesome mane that I know just how to toss at the right moment for the right effect just in case I am not the center of your world for a moment.

I live for the limelight and I have so much of me to express. If for some reason I am hiding my light under a bushel, something must have happened to my self esteem and I need a bit of an ego boost. Sometimes I feel a little bit bad about being so self centered but I really am ALL THAT and a box of animal crackers. I mean did they write a musical about Taurus the Bull King, no! I have so much creativity stirring in me that I sometimes feel like I will burst if I do not express myself.

One of the ways that I express myself is with and through children and nothing stirs my soul like having an heir for my throne. Its only right.

VIRGO CHARACTERISTICS – We Virgos sometimes get a bad name for being too picky or critical and that’s just a complete misread of Virgo Characteristics; we are actually perfectionists. If you think that we are  hard on you, that doesn’t hold a candle to how hard we are on ourselves. Seem like we swallowed a whole belly full of free – floating guilt and an over developed sense of responsibility.

I bet none of you with your Virgo characteristic text book cases never heard,”If you want it done right, ask a Virgo!” Virgo traits may not be so glamorous as say  my Leo neighbor but we really care about others, sometimes to our detriment, and we want to be of service too.
Just because we are the Virgins of the Zodiac, does not mean that we are Virginal in all ways. When we let our hair down look out for we quiet ones. Remember that Virgin in the original definition meant,  A Woman who is whole unto herself!  Michael Jackson, BB King and Amy Winehouse are all Virgos.

LIBRA CHARACTERISTICS – If I must be in a box, then make it a pretty one. Libra characteristics depict us as loving beauty, peace,equality, and harmony however, did you know that more wars are fought for Libran issues of fairness and equality than any other?
Yeah we Librans have a great big FAIR BUTTON that won’t quit and its our blessing and curse. Some may call us codependent because we always seem to be in relationships or wanting them. Lady, save your labels because it is our nature to want to partner and be in love. we are just wired that way.

For you this may feel obsessive, to us its the way it is. It is a true textbook Libra characteristic to be a bit of a people pleaser and those that revel in controversy will even call us fence sitters. Here’s the deal, we want to be loved or at least liked by as many as possible and we also like and need to keep the peace even if we are the ones who stir the pot from time to time.
If you don’t have a year or two, never ask us to make the decision because we just can’t do it quickly or sometimes at all. We need to look at all sides to, you guessed it, TO BE FAIR. Our ethics can be second to none. Sting, and TS Eliot are Librans.

SCORPIO TRAITS – Secrecy, sexuality,sensuality, spirituality are all Scorpio traits but  because we are so secretive, you may never find out about the other S’s in our bag of tricks. We want to draw you in to see if you are really serious enough, or deep enough, or real enough to be allowed past the veil to the next door. Let’s face it getting to know me is nothing short of an Initiation to a most sacred space, my heart.
Don’t let my brusque nature fool you, I bruise easily and don’t trust easily. Scorpio traits can send you on a primal journey to the center of your soul and back again ’cause if it ain’t intense, why bother!
Life is too short for feeling half baked about anything. I can do a slow burn and actually kind of like that build up as long as we can be engulfed in passion’s flames by midnight.

Oh, did I tell you, we love money? Yeah, we do, sex and money uh huh but shhhhhhhhhhh that will be our little secret, or maybe 2 of them.

I don’t like to reveal too much about me because not everyone likes to get as deep as I want to go and then I feel all naked swinging in the breeze trying to back paddle and  put the cat back in the bag which as you know is quite impossible. You know you can’t un-know something so best not to open Pandora’s Box unless Pandora herself is attending.

They may not tell you but I WILL, Grace Slick is a mega Scorpio with 5, count them, 5 planets in Scorpio. Shere Hite, Ti Grace Atkinson, and Sally Field are all Scorpios as well. I actually discovered Ti Grace’s astrological sign in a conversation with her quite innocently.

SAGITTARIUS TRAITS – Scorpio may not want to tell you much but it is a Sagittarius trait to say too much too much of the time. We centaurs can have hoof in mouth disease and are as physically as delicate as a bull in a china shop. Its not that we are physically  or verbally clumsy, it’s just that we simply do not know where  we end and the world begins. It is characteristic of Sagittarius to be expansive, philosophical, liberal,ecumenical and generally upbeat unless our expansiveness has gotten the better of our bank book.

Moderation and restraint is not our strong suit and a trip on the Excess Express is more likely especially if one includes a magic carpet ride to some exotica for good, or bad measure.

One cannot accurately discuss Sagittarius traits without mentioning that we are world travelers and may have gotten a passport before our drivers license if we are very lucky, which of course we are! We have 11th hour luck and can pull it out of the crapper at the last minute no matter what. We rely on that “gift” and can be the bane of existence for our earthy  Virgo, Capricorn and Taurian friends who crave plans and details.

Cancer may want to Fly Me to the Moon but Sagies will actually do it!

If we don’t have the cash, we can sublimate and rationalize that the movie is better than the trip. After all, we are spiritual beings to the max and we don’t need the literal material expression of a thing to experience it fully.
If we can’t dazzle you with the next big thing from our New Age toolkit, we Sagies can keep you laughing. We are the tricksters and jokers of the zodiac as well as the mystics. We always have something entertaining swirling in ye olde kozmic cauldron.
The Divine Ms M. Bette Midler is a Sag in fine comic form and nobody could transform our reality with his mystical music like Jimi Hendrix, both Sagittarians.

CAPRICORN TRAITS – Ah call me the un – capricious Capricorn. Never mind the work horse, Capricorn traits make the mountain goat even more focused on pursuing that work ethic. There is no such thing as a goal that cannot be achieved, a mountain that cannot be climbed an obstacle that cannot be overcome
As a matter of fact, if we do not have some challenge in front of us urging us onward like a carrot on a stick,  we feel sort of bored and under stimulated. We are bold and brash at times but usually show themselves to be traditional in appearance. To understand that aspect fully, you need to contemplate which tradition they uphold. If it is the mainstream culture, which is usually where the Capricorn feels the most comfortable, then the appearance will lean to the conservative side of dignified.

However if you get a wild Capricorn, and they do come in that model, and they are part of a black militant culture then they will wear the garb of that tradition or if they are  Capricorn lesbians, they are likely to be the poster girls for the “Look, ” jacket, or flannel shirt, sensible shoes, and close cropped coif.”
The planet Saturn rules us giving us this underlying feeling that we need to accomplish to be worthy, that somehow we need to make up for some phantom failing in this life or another. Capricorn secret number one, we are way too easily guilted so guard that one like a Scorpio as anyone who has access to that Achilles Heel can work you mercilessly.
Some Capricorn traits can be worn like a plaque on the wall, honors, distinctions, degrees from seven Universities with letters piled high after your name; all to prove that you are worthy and credentialed.
Sometimes I wonder if I will ever be satisfied and just relax.
If you are looking for someone to do the right thing, trust a Capricorn to have unerring morals unless something else in the chart interferes. We can be the salt of the earth and the most sophisticated one at the black tie  affair. We rise to the top not because of luck like a Sag but because we work and plan and put the pedal to the metal when necessary.

AQUARIUS CHARACTERISTICS – Are there such things as Aquarius characteristics? Hell yes, we are rebels with or without a cause yet can be ever so detached and sometimes even appear aloof. The operative  word here is appear. I want to tell ya that we really aren’t aloof at all, we can just seem that way when we are contemplating some vast expanse or intricate corner of the solar system. Speaking of the stars, we are brilliant astrologers when we choose that path. It is a perfect fit for our inquiring minds and penchant for abstract thinking.
Aquarius characteristics are a study in contradictions.We love humanity but  people can be hard to take. I know that sounds weird but its true.

Let’s face it, the majority is mostly wrong and without us outspoken fringy Aquarians, called Aqueerians by some, the sheeple would just muddle along in their zombie-like herd mentality. Most people are asleep at the wheel and want to stay that way. They will call us all kinds of nasty names if we  try to wake them up.
Sometimes the insipid qualities of GROUP THINK drive me to distraction.
I can’t imagine being in a sweat lodge or anywhere else and staying to the point of dying because some pseudo guru tells me to stay.

I am a rather unique individual even though I tend to join groups of other unique individuals so that we can face the world and not feel so alone.
No lie, Aquarians are quirky,astrological, independent, intellectual, philosophical, political and don’t forget radical even if they are radically Right Wing!
Let’s face it, If you aren’t living on the edge, you are taking up too much room!  There’s so much more to think about than sports and star gossip.

PISCES CHARACTERISTICS – How to really know Pisces characteristics when we are the chameleons of the Zodiac? Only the Shadow knows, and he ain’t tellin’! I think we are the most easily misunderstood signs but I guess if I am going to be really honest, which I sometimes avoid, my art of subterfuge is partly to blame.
I don’t like to make a big deal  about myself but I do like to be recognized and appreciated.
The material world is not my favorite hood, in fact, it is a real  harsh place for my sensitive nature. If only my boundaries were not so porous! I can feel everything from the Earthquake in Haiti, to the suffering of Dolphins in Japan, to a friends new toothache and it all floods my  system when I labor under the delusion that my meter as a Psychic is not running.

Speaking of Psychics, there are no signs better equipped to open the Third Eye wide and tune in to the very soul of the client and yes I do talk to dead people! Therein lies the Blessing and the Curse of being a Pisces. We feel a lot and if we are wise enough to turn that talent and sensitivity towards healing others we can reap the rewards of this quality.

If we don’t choose to use and develop these gifts, our sensitivity can  radically backfire on us  and we can become addicted to any number of substances to soothe the pain of our deep awareness. The phrase, “Drinks like a fish” refers to the wayward unevolved Piscean. It is no accident that alcohol is also referred to as spirits. We can embrace that world of multi dimensional reality or we can be thrown harshly earthward crashing on the rocks of the material world.

Pisces characteristics cover a wide variety of traits and talents. All of the art forms and especially music come easy to creative Pisces. We love because it is our nature to love and we need to be very aware of who and how we give our hearts because  when we do, it is no half way matter.

We are deeply spiritual. Because we are such empaths, if we are not careful we can fall for every person with a sad tale or a need that we believe that only we can heal.
