Simple protocol for homeopathic/ flower essence therapy pre and post op for animals
These notes will be useful for someone who is neutering their cats and sadly will also remove front claws.. Ideally most of my readers will not remove claws at is really a bad thing for your cats but the rest of the info applies for most simple operations and recovery.
Most important, remember to talk with the animal who will have surgery and explain what will happen and help calm and soothe not only with your words but your demeanor
Before going to the vet or hospital give your pet a few drops or a dropper full of Arbor Garden flower essence or Animal Emergency both from Greenhope Farms or Rescue Remedy if you can’t get these which while more accessible is not as good in my opinion.
Good to give your animal pre op[ 2 tiny pellets without food at least 1/2 hr before surgery] Arnica 30c for bleeding,pain and swelling and [15/20 min later] Hypericum 30c in case nerves are touched especially for the removal of the claws and after give post op as well by the next day also give a dose of Nux Vomica 30c which will remove the anesthesia from the body which for humans and animals is the hardest part on the system! After the nux, wait about an hr. and then repeat Arnica wait 20 minm and then Hypericum[ separate them like this in the beginning also and never with food. Homeopathics should not be given within 15 min of food. All of these homeos are easy to get at a health food store at this potency.
You can also order on line from Celletech homeopathics or Homeopathy Overnight if there is a rush as well.
Later on, use the flower essence, gooseberry from Greenhope Farms. This is very good as it is given when one has to have something removed that they’re supposed to have. Nurses have reported amazing results with one of my clients who is an amputee!
