Sacred Water Ritual from Moonhaven and the Grandmother Tree
I have concocted a wonderful cleansing ritual with water
and the nature spirits and plants from my yard. Like
my own watery nature the work is fluid and not fixed
in formula.
I carry a large pot as I walk around the yard at
Moonhaven, which is a cross between a park and a
jungle full of amazing plants, trees and energies.
As I move through the yard, I allow the elementals and
devas to guide me to special plants that are in bloom
and I gather pieces, leaves, flowers, buds, etc., from
them into my pot. adding pieces of pine
bark, needles, and cones.I always make it a point to add bark, leaves and acorns from the most sacred GrandmotherTree which is a 500 + yr.old live oak that was struck and split down the middle
by lightning some 300 years ago and still stands like an amazing Goddess sculpture alive and thriving. I believe that her energy infuses the entire magical space here at Moonhaven.
Also in the mix are leaves and blossoms
from my orange, tangerine and lemon trees and
basically anything growing that calls to me.
Next I cook the whole thing for about 20 min and let
the aroma fill my house let it cool a bit and strain
it into another pot and maybe add a bit more water to
make it a pleasing temperature.
This is usually done
best with another so if you both want to receive these
sacred waters, then be sure that you have enough
mixture for 2 full large pots [like the kind you would
boil up pasta or the like]
Because I live in the country, this next part is easy
but you could also stand in your tub or shower. Get
naked and have your partner [or yourself] pour the
magical earth and water mix over your head. I also
like the feeling of having some of it literally thrown
at me to shake loose any remaining negative energy
forms that might still be hanging on to my body.
Blot dry with a clean fluffy towel and light a white
candle and bask in your renewed energy.
I do believe that a spring bath is just what this
Withdoctor needs!”
The GrandmotherTree is huge and amazing and I bought my house for the tree. Clearly I was sent here to be the custodian of this very magical place. Funny I have spent the morning pouring Gem Elixirs that I have made out under the arms of the GMT and even have an elixir made of her essence done in water sitting at the heart of her roots. She is also on a big ley line and 2 vortices.

Greetings to Moonhaven! Thank you for this lovely write-up. With the great Eclipse in Africa, which lasted 6 hours, my ancestors reinvested me in the position once held by my family in the female line and lost, due to misappropriation of shamanic powers centuries ago. I am Priestess of Abihayat, [Water of life]: ie all sacred waters of Mother Earth. In view of the approach of 2012, I feel this ceremonial is of tremendous importance. We need to be very aware that climate changes now taking place will have dramatic repurcussions on our entry into the new era, and water IS AND WILL REMAIN totally vital to the survival of all life. Water is indeed sacred – it is LIFE ITSELF!
