Moonhaven Mystery School:Our First Class Sept 29 1-4pm
The initial purpose for starting the long awaited Moonhaven Mystery School was to create a vehicle to share the wisdom and magic that we as Elders in the Womanspirituality Movement have accumulatd over years and years of practice and service to our communities.
These are THE SECRETS,to coin a popular theme that has hit the Mainstream..and these Secrets have always been kept by the wisewomen of the communities.
These are not the times for hoarding information that can serve and possibly save the world. These are times to break open Pandora’s Box of Women’s Mysteries and demystify and share in positive, safe healing spaces where the coming generations can build on what we know, that these Secrets do not die with us, that the younger or newer ones needn’t reinvent the Wheel!
It is clear to me that this is part of the Mission that I was sent here to complete and I never launch anything BIG unless I get a direct communication from the Goddess, and I got the Word so it is with great honor and joy that I present the Moonhaven Mystery School,may she open doors for women wanting to understand and delight in their own magic as well as that of sweet Mother Earth. Bring us to her Breast for Nurturing and deep Wisdom. Blessed be.

If the first class at Moonhaven Mystery School is any indication of the flow and deep wisdom we will be sharing, then we are all in for a magnificently magical time.
This is the first time that I have used the Gazebo at Moonhaven for a teaching space and for now the weather is perfect. Because our curriculum is so guided by nature, sitting in the very heart of it allows us to experience the words whispered on the wind as it whips through as if to punctuate our words.
The call of the many hawks in the hood always seem to come at just the right moment to emphasize a point well taken.
Yesterday a whole family of hawks eagerly called repeatedly to communicate and underscore the words of one woman’s reading.
We started off class by saying our names and speaking of the goals that we had for ourselves in this series of classes.
It was clear that all came with open minds and hearts and that this would be an opening, transformative process for all including myself. Some women are at the beginning of major shifts in their lives while others will find surprises and deepening experiences in areas that are already familiar.
I asked each woman to take 2 cards from my Wise Woman’s Tarot Deck. The first would be their message for today’s work while the next card would give insights into the entire journey. I read and intuited the meanings of the messages for each woman this week and next week we will journey further on the path of Divination with the Wise Woman’s Tarot and then everyone will be reading the cards and that should be even more fun!
Each woman was also instructed to take a stone or crystal friend for the day from the basket to accompany them on their journey into the magical realms of Moonhaven.
I suggested that each should find a special place,tree,plant, or bush on the land and see what or if there was a message for them there and or something that this space or tree, etc., wanted from them. Twenty or more minutes passed while everyone found their place[s] of interest, where the special energies spoke to them. after which I rang a bronze bell to bring all the women back to the Gazebo for sharing.
For some, talking to trees and stones was quite familiar while for others it was a stretch but all came back with fascinating stories and some had either been instructed to do/clear/fix something and some only got messages. Some were given specific tasks to do like helping the Grandfather tree in the front to recuperate from the lightning strike that had defaced his formerly attractive countenance.While another was told that the energy in the grid inside the pyramid needed to be re-energized and swept of leaves.Still another was asked to clear some of the plants away from the big mother crystal in the center point of the deck.
Funny ,but not so funny,all the places that wanted “fixing” with the exception of the Grandfather tree were spaces that had been demanding my attention but they told me to wait and let the group have the experience of working and healing together.
The amazing Grandmother Tree, which is a 500 plus year old live oak that was split in two some 300 years ago by lightning, simply asked to be loved and to share her wisdom and energy. Those who only had a message but no immediate task to do helped those whose task resonated for them as well.
It was a beautiful merging of self discovery and exploration with teamwork.
The day flowed together so perfectly and harmoniously and the joy and expansive feelings that we shared were palpable. We are creating Spiritual Community which we all expressed wanting and needing in the opening talk and it just felt GREAT.
The Mare Goddess Chinamoon had to come by for her cameo appearance just when we were talking about her and she positioned herself just outside the screened in walls of the Gazebo nodding and snorting as she heard me tell her story.
Being able to teach outside in such a serene and expressive space could spoil me for ever teaching indoors again.
All in all I feel we had an absolutely splendid beginning for the Moonhaven Mystery School and I will look forward to each following week.
